I love lavender. A couple weeks ago I harvested all my lavender. I have been taking cuttings for months, but as it was starting to go to seed I cut the lot. I planted them out around this time last year and they have grown well and flowered lots. I have tied them into bunches and hung them in the kitchen. They smell lovely and look very cute. I will continue to use them in the house and in the coop over winter. I have planted five more lavender plant I grew from seeds by the run, in the hopes I will have a bigger harvest next year. It certainly gets used up quickly.

One of my most favoritest plants. There's one type that grows exceptionally well here in Az, but I can't manage to get it to stay alive. Bummer.
